On the Artificial Analysis Intelligence Index (fetched 22 Sep 2026 ET), Kimi K3 (max) scores 44. AA’s open-weights FAQ on that fetch lists it third among open weights after MiMo-V2.6-Pro and GLM-5.3.

Training

The paper *Kimi K3: Open Frontier Intelligence* (arXiv:2607.24653) and the Hugging Face card describe a Mixture-of-Experts model with Kimi Delta Attention (KDA), Attention Residuals, and Stable LatentMoE. Post-training emphasizes reinforcement learning across general, agentic, and coding domains with multiple reasoning-effort levels. Exact train FLOPs and full data recipes belong in the paper and card, not restated here beyond published summaries.

Inference

Thinking is always enabled; responses include reasoning content. Effort levels: low, high, and max (default max). Hosted API: platform.kimi.ai with model kimi-k3 (OpenAI / Anthropic compatible). Local serving guidance on the card points to vLLM, SGLang, and TokenSpeed.

Context

Context length on the model card: 1,048,576 tokens (about 1M). AA lists context about 1.05M.
