Kimi K3.1 Pro is Moonshot AI's updated version of Kimi K3, released on 23 Oct 2026 according to Kimi K3.1 Pro on OpenRouter [1]. Moonshot's Kimi K3.1 Pro Tech Blog calls it a post-trained version of K3, which means the same base model given more training after its first training run [2]. It has a 1,048,576-token context window, which is how much text it can read in one request, per Moonshot's Model Inference Pricing Explanation [3].

On the Kimi API it is kimi-k3.1-pro at $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens, and kimi-k3.1-pro-highspeed costs $4 and $20 [3].
